Grateful to the QLD Music Teachers Association in Cairns for hosting a huge day of professional development music with myself as mentor. I started the day teaching a masterclass of incredibly talented violinists from the Cairns region including a show piece from Wieniawski singing out of a violin from a young lad a quarter of my height! After a forum on sustaining and developing professional arts in reigonal Australia, the dy was complet with a joint teacher and student chamber performance of the Bach A minor Violin Concerto! So incredibly proud of my home region; its teachers, students and community. 🌴
